What are PDO Threads and how do they work?

PDO threads are safe and absorbable surgical sutures. They are also used to perform cardiovascular surgeries and are one of the safest materials to be implanted in the body. The skin fully absorbs it within 4 to 6 months and does not leave behind any scar tissue.

PDO Thread Lift procedure is a minimally invasive alternative to facelift surgery. Thread lifts aim to tighten facial skin by inserting medical-grade thread material into your face and then “pulling” your skin up by tightening the thread. How quickly can I see the results of the PDO Threads?

What is the downtime with PDO threads?

Recovery time after a thread lift is overall minimal. While for some there may be some visible swelling and bruising, many can return to work and normal activities within the next day or few days. Specific restrictions, like exercising, may be necessary and will be discussed upon consultation.
